Terms of Use

These conditions govern access to and use of the website. Visiting a page, reading its content, or submitting a search means you agree to them. Do not continue using the service if you do not accept these terms.

NO FCRA USE. This privately owned website has no affiliation with a local, Missouri, or federal government body. Neither the website nor its advertising partners provide a service for credit, employment, insurance, tenant, or any other decision regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Its purpose is to route visitors to Randolph County and Missouri criminal-record resources. It is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site operating independently of government. It neither stores official criminal records nor retrieves them, conducts official checks, or files papers for a visitor.

Its content identifies the Randolph County Sheriff, the Randolph Circuit Clerk through the Missouri Courts directory, the Missouri State Highway Patrol Central Repository, the Missouri Sex Offender Registry, and other official custodians. Some pages also connect visitors with independently operated search tools.

2. Rules for Using This Site

By using the website, you agree not to:

  • Violate any federal, Missouri, or local law
  • Use information to threaten, stalk, or harass a person
  • Apply website content to an FCRA-regulated decision
  • Enter systems or data without authorization
  • Use bots, scraping software, or other automated collection tools
  • Disrupt performance or interfere with another visitor's access

3. No Harassment, Stalking, or Discrimination

Information obtained here or through a linked tool may not be used to harass, intimidate, stalk, threaten, or unlawfully discriminate against anyone. Registry misuse is especially serious. Missouri warns that using Missouri Sex Offender Registry information to facilitate a crime is illegal. The registry supports public safety awareness, not vigilantism or prohibited screening.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and do not produce a consumer report, credit report, or official background check. Our advertising partners do not provide those regulated services through this website. You may not use information from these pages or linked tools to:

  • Make an employment decision
  • Evaluate a rental or housing application
  • Set credit or insurance eligibility or terms
  • Decide eligibility for a license, permit, or government benefit where regulated
  • Carry out any other purpose governed by the FCRA

Where a lawful purpose requires a regulated check, use the official Missouri State Highway Patrol process or a provider that complies with the FCRA and all applicable law.

5. No Legal Advice

The information is not legal advice. General descriptions of Randolph County records cannot determine how a charge, warrant, conviction, or Missouri expungement rule affects a specific person. Consult a licensed Missouri attorney for that advice.

6. No Warranties

All content and services are offered "as is." We make no promise that:

  • Every detail is complete, accurate, or current
  • Access will always be uninterrupted
  • The pages contain no error, defect, or security weakness
  • An outside search tool will return complete or correct results

Charges, dispositions, sealing, and expungement can change the status or visibility of a record. Delays and gaps remain possible. Nothing published here is an official statement from a sheriff, court, or government agency.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links can lead to courts, sheriffs, state agencies, legal aid organizations, and outside search services. Those destinations operate independently. We do not control their content, privacy practices, prices, or availability, and their terms should be reviewed before use.

8. Intellectual Property

Randolph County Criminal History or its content partners own the website's text, graphics, logos, and code. Copying, distribution, modification, or derivative use requires prior written permission.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for losses or damages arising from use of the website, its information, or a linked service.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, demands, or proceedings caused by your use of the website or a violation of these terms, including related legal costs.

11. Governing Law

Missouri law governs these terms. Any dispute connected to website use must be brought in a court located in Missouri. Government record access remains subject to the Missouri Sunshine Law, and state criminal-history dissemination is addressed by section 43.540, RSMo.

12. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be revised. A revised version takes effect when it is posted here.

13. Cutting Off Access

We may suspend or end access at any time, with or without advance notice.

14. Severability

If one provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay effective. The affected language will be limited only as much as needed to make it enforceable.

15. Questions

Questions about these terms may be directed through the Contact page.
